_HOLY WAR- Music and Lyrics by de Tourdonnet
Jeanne has led the French army to victory in Orleans, defeating the English as she said she would do. The French troops are galvanized by her “holy” presence, and the English become terrified as rumours spread that the French have a demonic witch. The English Regent, Bedford, reacts to these developments, first addressing Charles of France, then his Archbishop, then his troops. |

1860’s, south-western Ontario. Elijah McCoy is a bright young black man whose parents escaped to Canada via the Underground Railway. He is awarded an engineering scholarship to a Scottish University. In America Elijah is let go by Michigan Steam Lube, even though he is a brilliant inventor, because of a southern investor who would not tolerate a black engineer on staff. In this scene, Superheater, Elijah’s old boss has shows up: nobody can solve problems like Elijah. |
